Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Daniela Paes (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this page or purchase The Kind of Mom, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We sell one digital product. We do not sell your personal information.
Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
- Purchase information — your name, email address, country and the items ordered. Card details are entered on the checkout page of our payment processor (Payhip) and are never transmitted to or stored by us.
- Email address, if you ask us a question or opt in to receive updates.
- Your quiz answer about age — if you take the quiz and ask for the free page, we save the age range you picked and the chapter suggested to you, together with your email address, so the notes we send match your child’s age. We don’t save your other answers.
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and the page requested, as recorded in the standard server logs of our website host. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, health information. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Why we use it
- To deliver the file you bought and provide support (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- To process payments and keep tax and accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
- To keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest).
- To send you emails you asked for — every one has an unsubscribe link (consent).
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. We do not run retargeting, and we do not build advertising audiences from your visit.
Fonts and images are served from our own site. Two third-party services are used only when you act:
- MailerLite — receives your email address and quiz stage only if you choose to enter your email in the form on this page. See MailerLite's privacy policy.
- Payhip — runs the checkout when you click to buy. Payhip's checkout page is governed by Payhip's own privacy policy and may set its own cookies.
If we add analytics or advertising measurement tools in the future, we will update this policy before they go live and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that need it to run the business: our payment processor (Payhip), our email and file-delivery provider (MailerLite), and our website host. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We never sell or rent your personal information.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data leaves the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.
How long we keep it
Order and tax records: 7 years, as tax law requires. Support emails: 2 years after the conversation ends. Marketing email addresses: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: as kept by our website host, typically no longer than 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of personal information. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states with privacy statutes, and residents of the UK and EEA (UK GDPR / GDPR), can exercise these rights free of charge and without discriminatory treatment.
To make a request, email daniela@wordstoreachfor.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm the email address used for your order so that we give data to the right person. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission. UK and EEA residents also have the right to complain to their local data protection authority.
Brazil — LGPD
We are established in Brazil, so our processing is also governed by the General Personal Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018, “LGPD”). Under it you may confirm whether we process your data and access it, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, request portability, obtain information about the parties with whom we share data, and withdraw consent — by writing to daniela@wordstoreachfor.com. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payments run on PCI-DSS compliant processors, and access to order data is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will say so on the home page.
